A very dodgy VAR penalty helped France who went on to beat Croatia 4-2 to lift the world cup.

England Finish Fourth After Defeat To Belgium

England lost 2-0 to Belgium and although they played some decent stuff after half time it was clear that Belgium were the better team and deserved their victory.

England Lose In Extra Time

A defensive error gave Croatia a 2-1 win in extra time to line up a final against France. England played well in the 1st half but failed to create much in the way of chances after half time and in the end were beaten by a better team on the day. The luck finally ran out for Germany as they crashed out of the world cup after losing 2-0 to South Korea, a result that nobody predicted. Sweden beat Mexico 3-0 to top the group with Mexico also through. Jacob Nixon remains in front.
